Dear Friends of Rainbow Fleet,
Whenever we have the opportunity to participate in events such as a conference, a professional forum or a “business after hours”, we almost always hear statements that go like this:
“I have seen Rainbow Fleet around for years. I know you work with children and families, but I have never been exactly sure what else you do, but I know you do good work for the community.”
“Oh yes, I am very familiar with Rainbow Fleet. When my children were younger and I needed care for them, I was directed to you. Your staff helped me to find a very good child care center and we were so thankful.”
“I was serving on the Junior League when we helped to start Rainbow Fleet. I remember volunteering to clean up the toys from the mobile toy lending library when the toys were returned to be checked out again.”
The quote list could go on, but I will stop there. These statements are true. Yes, we do work with and support children and families, as well as child care providers and communities. Our services do include assisting parents and families to choose quality child care and consulting on appropriate activities, curriculum, educational materials and resources for children. But, our serving doesn’t stop there.
I am delighted to make available this web site for information and resources. I hope you find the information enlightening. I will also take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and future considerations.
Together for children,
W. Royce Junghanns, MHR
