CHANGES COMING

Dear Families,
As I reflect on my career at Rainbow Fleet, so many outstanding parents and early childhood educators come to mind. I have been privileged to serve as executive director here for the past seven years in the community we share. While I will continue to advocate for Oklahoma’s children in a different professional role, it is with sadness that I begin the transition process to a new opportunity.
Change is often bittersweet, especially when leaving an organization that is beloved where we work and live. I am grateful for the support extended to Rainbow Fleet, without which this vital work would not be possible. Every donation, volunteer hour and kind act benefits Oklahoma’s youngest learners. This impact will be felt for years to come through the lifespans of children who have benefited from a more positive start because of quality interactions in their early years.
My last day of employment is April 30, but the organization’s mission will continue to prosper. I look forward to serving as a board member and remaining involved with Rainbow Fleet’s outreach efforts. It has been a privilege to work with parents and child care providers throughout the state.
As I prepare for my new role, I remain confident in Rainbow Fleet’s ability to meet the needs of families and child care professionals. Until a new executive director is named, please contact Daphne Peschl, director of operations, if we can ever be of assistance. You can reach Daphne at 405-521-1426 or dpeschl@rainbowfleet.org.
Sincerely,
Carrie Williams
