EARLY LEARNING CENTER
The Rainbow Fleet Early Learning Center provides high-quality early childhood educational experiences to 116 children, ages six weeks to four years old, and after school programming for 30 pre-kindergarten children who attend Horace Mann Elementary. The Rainbow Fleet Early Learning Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
OPENING JULY 1, 2020!
Rainbow Fleet is repurposing Horace Mann Elementary for its programs and operations as well as the addition of an early learning center, which will serve as a lab school for OSU-OKC’s early education degree participants. This is critical to ensuring a consistent education among child care professionals and central to our mission at Rainbow Fleet of providing innovative, educational child development programs and services that enhance the quality of life for children, families and child care professionals.
Due to budget and administrative changes, OSU-OKC, OCCC and Rose State College have all closed their child development lab schools in the past two years. Without a lab school, educational institutions are teaching theory and trusting that students can apply it. By operating a lab school in partnership with OSU-OKC, Rainbow Fleet is inviting students at all local colleges and universities to participate in their educational experience while providing critical support to families who need access to quality child care.
Rainbow Fleet Early Learning Center is looking for experienced professionals to teach in the newly renovated spaces. Interested applicants can email their resumes to Mary McCoy.
