About the Event
Emergency First Care and Injury Prevention is a Pediatric First-Aid course for child care providers, developed through the EMS for Children’s Program at OU Children’s Hospital. This class covers burns, medication administration, child abuse, Shaken Baby Syndrome, SIDS and much more.
This course meets all of the DHS requirements including Rescue Breathing and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction. Participants will receive American Heart Association Basic Life Support HeartSaver CPR/AED cards and certificates for first-aid to reflect the training hours received.
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Doors open at 8:45 a.m. Class begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.)
