We are excited to host you for our Regional Reconnect at Camp Trivera this year!
There are three possible trainings you may choose from:
-The Wonder of Lights and Shadows
-Early Birds (3-5 yrs. old)
-(Español) Luces y Sombras
You may only choose one. All participants must register seperately.

Lights and Shadows
The Wonder of Lights and Shadows: Discover the science and wonder of light and shadow exploration inside and outside of your classroom. We will discuss the benefits of light and shadow play and how to support children's natural curiosity about the concepts of light and shadow. Through hands on activities we will learn how to set up invitations to play, examine various types of light sources to work with, and determine how to incorporate light and shadow play into all areas of learning.

Learn about your child’s development and tools for school readiness through topics like child development, everyday learning opportunities, activities that promote school readiness, purposeful techniques, and health and safety. Explore utilizando luces y sombras dentro y fuera de su aula. En este entrenamiento hablaremos de las ventajas de jugar con luces y sombras y de cómo fomentar la curiosidad natural de los niños. A través de actividades prácticas aprenderemos a preparar invitaciones para jugar, examinaremos varios tipos de fuentes de luz con las que trabajar y determinaremos cómo incorporar el juego de luces y sombras en todas las áreas de aprendizaje de su aula.
