Zoom Training: How to Create a Safe Sleep Environment for Your Baby

 Each year in the United States, there are about 3,500 Sudden Unexpected Infant Deaths (SUID). These deaths occur among infants less than one year old and have no immediately obvious cause. The three commonly reported types of SUID are Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), unknown causes and accidental suffocation and strangulation in bed. In this training, find out what you can do to reduce a baby’s risk of SIDS and other sleep-related causes of infant death and what you can do as a caregiver to help increase the awareness of this important issue.

This training meets the Child Care Services-Licensing requirement for safe sleep training.

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Payment is accepted by check, cash, money order (prior to training) or online with credit/debit card (Visa or MasterCard). We CANNOT take payment information over the phone. A space is only guaranteed when payment is received. A receipt will be issued to complete your enrollment. Unless otherwise noted, all classes take place at Rainbow Fleet, 1105 NW 45th St. in Oklahoma City. A 24 Hour notice of cancellation is required in order to receive a training voucher, otherwise no refund for missed trainings will be given. Zoom: Meeting link/ID will be sent out the day of training. Meeting room opens 10 minutes before start time. If you're having trouble accessing the meeting link, email the trainer at the email listed on the original email. In person: Doors open 30 minutes before and close 30 minutes after training. Doors are locked 15 minutes after trainings begin. No children allowed; please make alternate plans for child care. Space is limited and children are a distraction for participants and trainers.
